Vicky’s Background

Vicky’s career began as a freelance makeup artist in the beauty, bridal, film, and fashion industry, where she spent a decade perfecting her craft. She also served as business manager for some of the most prestigious makeup lines, including MAC and NARS Cosmetics.

Although Vicky’s greatest and most rewarding experience has been raising her three beautiful and vibrant children over the past several years and motherhood became her priority in life, she continued to challenge herself professionally. She enrolled in business and real estate courses at UCLA, obtained her California real estate license, and managed a portfolio of residential and vacation rental properties.

Cosmetic Dermatology Services

In addition, Vicky is a licensed tattoo artist and with special certifications in semi-permanent makeup, microblading, and paramedical tattooing to strengthen her skill set in aesthetics. She now provides the following services at Greco Dermatology:

“Helping people as well as empowering men and women to look and feel good has always been something that I love to do. Among the greatest joys has been helping cancer survivors create hair loss solutions to restore contour and definition to areas such as the brows, eyelashes, and scalp.”

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

Scalp micro pigmentation (SMP) is a specialized cosmetic technique that deposits natural pigment into the upper layers of the skin to replicate natural hair follicles. SMP can add the appearance of density to naturally thinning areas of the scalp as well as help camouflage post-procedural scarring or other focal areas of alopecia. Overall, SMP creates an undetectable illusion of thicker, fuller hair as the color-matched natural pigment blends with existing hairs. Typically, a client needs 2 - 3 treatment sessions spaced 14 days apart.

Scar and Stretch Mark Camouflage

Scar and Stretch Mark Camouflage blends hypopigmented or pale scars and stretch marks into the surrounding skin, dramatically improving their appearance. Scars and stretch marks become less perceptible and noticeable with color and depth restored to the tissue. A color palette of natural pigment is used to precisely approximate skin tone to the surrounding area.  In cases where even skin tone already exists, inkless stretch mark camouflage is a great option to restore depth and texture. Typically, a client needs 2 to 3 treatment sessions spaced 30 – 45 days apart.

Microblading

This eyebrow tattooing treatment creates the appearance of fine, natural-looking eyebrow hair strokes by adding semi-permanent pigment to the skin. A small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to achieve this look.

Semi-permanent Makeup

This treatment is a form of cosmetic tattooing that deposits pigment into the skin for long-lasting “makeup” so that patients won’t have to spend time applying makeup every day. Semipermanent makeup tends to last from 6-12 months.
