How Long Does Microblading Last?

How to Prepare for Microblading for Eyebrows

No retinol and/or vitamin A products for one month before treatment
No BOTOX® treatments for one month before treatment
No chemical peels for three weeks before treatment
No facials for at least two weeks before treatment
No waxing or plucking your eyebrows for one week before treatment
No tanning or sunbathing for three days before treatment
No alcohol, caffeine, ibuprofen, or fish oil for 24 hours before treatment
No tinting or coloring your brows before treatment
No exercising the day of treatment

Treatment Details

Microblading takes approximately two hours. Your microblading in Sarasota treatment plan will be fully customized to your specific face and natural brow patterns. To keep you comfortable, a topical numbing cream will be used. The numbing cream takes about 20 minutes to work.

Avoid getting your brows wet during healing, or sweating of any kind (this includes going to the gym), as well as showerhead pressure. You can expect your brows to feel sore 1-2 hours post-procedure.

Around day 2-3, your eyebrows will appear almost too bold and dark. By days 4-7, they may be flaky and patchy. Be sure to apply any ointment or product that we recommend.

The pigment will fade with healing. They will actually lighten by 50%-60%. This is why touch-ups are so often needed, and these can be done at four weeks.
